The facts of life

Saturday, February 25th, 2006

When her five-year-old daughter began asking questions about the facts of life, the mother carefully explained how babies were made. For several days, the child went over this fascinating new material with her mother. “So the sperm from Daddy fertilizes the ovum from Mommy and the baby is carried in Mommy’s tummy.”

“That’s right, honey” her mother said.

“But how does the sperm get there?” she asked. “Does Mommy swallow it?”

“If Mommy wants a new cocktail dress, she does,” came the reply

Bad luck

A man walks along, and sees an old man sitting on a park bench. The old man is perhaps eighty, and is crying his eyes out.

The first man approaches the elderly one and asks “What’s wrong?”

The elderly fellow replies. “I just married a twenty-year old girl, and…”

The first man prods him: “And? Do you have troubles with…”

“Oh, no, no. I have incredible stamina for a man my age, and we make love twenty-three times a day.”

The first man, obviously surprised, asks “So what’s wrong?”

“I forgot where I live!” bawls the old man.

Geriatrics indeed

Saturday, February 25th, 2006

Two elderly residents, a man and a woman, were sitting alone in the lobby of their nursing home one evening. The old man looked over and said to the old lady, “I know just what you’re wanting. For $5.00 I’ll have sex with you right over there in that rocking chair.”The old lady looked surprised but didn’t say a word.

The old man continued, “For $10 I’ll do it with you on that nice soft sofa over there, but for $20 I’ll take you back to my room, light some candles, and give you the most romantic evening you’ve ever had in your life.”

The old lady still says nothing but after a couple minutes, starts digging down in her purse. She pulls out a wrinkled $20 bill and holds it up.

“So you want the nice romantic evening in my room,” says the old man.

“Get serious,” she replies. “Four times in the rocking chair.”

Male or female?

Saturday, February 25th, 2006

You may not know this but many non-living things have a gender.1) Ziploc Bags are Male, because they hold everything in, but you can see right through them.

2) Copiers are Female, because once turned off; it takes a while to warm them up again. It’s an effective reproductive device if the right buttons are pushed, but can wreak havoc if the wrong buttons are pushed.

3) A Tire is Male, because it goes bald and it’s often over-inflated.

4) A Hot Air Balloon is Male, because, to get it to go anywhere, you have to light a fire under it, and of course, there’s the hot air part.

5) Sponges are Female, because they’re soft, squeezable and retain water.

6) A Web Page is Female because it’s always getting hit on.

7) A Subway is Male, because it uses the same old lines to pick people up.

8) An Hour glass is Female, because over time, the weight shifts to the bottom.

9) A Hammer is Male, because it hasn’t changed much over the last 5,000 years, but it’s handy to have around.

10) A Remote Control is Female. Ha! You thought it’d be male, didn’t you? But consider this,-it gives a man pleasure, he’d be lost without it, and while he doesn’t always know the right buttons to push, he keeps trying!

Get the phone right

Saturday, February 25th, 2006

I checked into a hotel on a business trip and was a bit lonely, so I thought I’d get me one of those girls you see advertised in phone booths when you’re calling for a cab. I grabbed a card on my way in.It was an ad for a girl calling herself Erogonique, a lovely girl, bending over in the photo. She had all the right curves in all the right places, beautiful long wavy hair, long graceful legs all the way up… you know the kind.

So I’m in my room and figure, “What the heck, I’ll give her a call.”

“Hello?” the woman says.

Wow! She sounded sexy.

“Hi, I hear you give a great massage and I’d like you to come to my room and give me one. No, wait, I should be straight with you. I’m in town all alone and what I really want is sex. I want it hard, I want it hot, and I want it now. I’m talking kinky the whole night long. You name it, we’ll do it. Bring implements, toys, everything you’ve got in your bag of tricks. We’ll go hot and heavy all night; tie me up, wear a strap on, cover me in chocolate syrup and whipped cream, anything you want, baby! Now, how does that sound?”

She says, “That sounds fantastic…. but for an outside line, Sir, you need to press 9.”

That Feels Pretty Good

Thursday, February 16th, 2006

Two women are playing golf on a sunny afternoon when one of them slices her shot into a foursome of men. To her horror, one of the men collapses in agony with both hands in his crotch. She runs to him apologizing profusely, explaining that she is a physical therapist and can help ease his pain.

“No thanks… just give me a few minutes… I’ll be fine…” he replies quietly with his hands still between his legs. Taking it upon herself to help the poor man, she gently undoes the front of his pant and starts massaging his genitals.

“Doesn’t that feel better?” she asks.

“Well… yes… That feels pretty good,” he admits. “But my thumb still hurts like hell.”

Golf Clubs

Thursday, February 16th, 2006

There was a businesswoman who just made a million dollars for an Arabian Oil Sheik. When she was leaving the Oil Sheik offered her Diamonds and rubies and a Silver-plated Rolls Royce, but she declined.

The Sheik insisted so she said that she just started to golf and maybe a set of golf clubs would be nice.

A few weeks later she received a telegram from the sheik.

“So far I have bought you 3 golf clubs. I hope you aren’t disappointed that only 2 of them have swimming pools.”

EuroEnglish

Thursday, February 16th, 2006

The European Union commissioners have announced that agreement has been reached to adopt English as the preferred language for European communications, rather than German, which was the other possibility. As part of the negotiations, Her Majesty’s Government conceded that English spelling had some room for improvement and has accepted a five-year phased plan for what will be known as EuroEnglish (Euro for short). In the first year, “s” will be used instead of the soft “c”. Sertainly, sivil servants will resieve this news with joy. Also, the hard “c” will be replaced with “k.” Not only will this klear up konfusion, but typewriters kan have one less letter.

There will be growing publik enthusiasm in the sekond year, when the troublesome “ph” will be replaced by “f”. This will make words like “fotograf” 20 per sent shorter.

In the third year, publik akseptanse of the new spelling kan be expekted to reach the stage where more komplikated changes are possible. Governments will enkourage the removal of double letters, which have always ben a deterent to akurate speling. Also, al wil agre that the horible mes of silent “e”s in the languag is disgrasful, and they would go.

By the fourth year, peopl wil be reseptiv to steps such as replasing “th” by “z” and “W” by “V”. During ze fifz year, ze unesesary “o” kan be dropd from vords kontaining “ou”, and similar changes vud of kors; be aplid to ozer kombinations of leters. After zis fifz yer, ve vil hav a reli sensibl riten styl. Zer vil b no mor trubls or difikultis and evrivun vil find it ezi tu understand ech ozer. Ze drem vil finali kum tru.
